For Love in action is a harsh and dreadful thing compared with love in dreams. 

Love in dreams is greedy for immediate action, rapidly performed and in sight of all. 

Some will even give their lives if only the ordeal does not last long, but is soon over, with all looking on and applauding as though on the stage. 

But active love is labor and fortitude. Thus, the love of a father, a rolling stone, a man. 

The living conditions might be mission impossible, raising a kid and wishing it wasn’t born, since a family can’t be planned in a day. 

However, I wouldn’t want us to dwell on what you did and didn’t do, since if you're halfway in, then you're halfway out. And now you wonder how you’d make decisions for both of you. 

You think about the baby's life; if it becomes a criminal, then that is going to be your bad kid. Deep in the night, and drowning in your vice, a cup, a glass, a smoke…you’re wondering whether to be an absent father or a bad dad…

So, you think of this child of yours and wonder about the decisions you’ve made, and hope you’re proud of yours. 

After months of morning sickness and recording pictures, scribbling lines of your ideas crossing bridges, now they are all washed up, and you can barely stitch a stutter together. 

Was this an accidental life? We all need someone to hold. Someone to adore us. Someone who truly sees us.

Maybe it was accidental. But that is the treasure you found in this life, and it is priceless when you start counting your blessings.
