Safari Rally Vibes and the Dream of a Home: The Revvisha Story

Well, ‘Rally, Vasha, Sherehe,’ and a few more groovy tags. And then there’s the adrenaline rush of a weekend that’ll stay in memory for the thousands who’ll be descending into the rift valley on the weekend after a week of your own rat race!

Then again, some were already here for the World Rally Championship, the Safari Rally, either to cheer on your favourite driver or just for the vibes. Hahaha! I know, I know, you love them cars…

But wait, as you open your wallet for one of the most memorable weekends of the year, have you heard of Revvisha na KCB? Of course, you have, who wouldn’t want a special seat, a breath away from all the action.

Now, the Revvisha campaign is about upgrading your life. “Not just where you live, but how you live,” so says Ms. Caroline Wanjeri Kihara, KCB Group Director of Mortgage.

And this package, besides giving you a front seat at the rally, makes home ownership not feel like a distant dream for young Kenyans.

Many young professionals assume they cannot afford a mortgage, yet some are already paying rent equivalent to a monthly mortgage repayment. The irony!

“The biggest barrier is often perception rather than possibility,” says Ms. Kihara.

How, you may ask, do you make this your reality?

It goes without saying that the promotion that ends on April 26, 2026, is open to new and existing KCB customers aged 18+ with a valid Kenyan ID.

If you don’t already have an account, you'll be able to open one at the hospitality tents, and stand a chance to win the grand prize: a one-bedroom apartment in Tatu City plus a KSh 500,000 MMF deposit.

Located at spectator stages, including Kedong and Hell's Gate, this tent offers seating, live screening of the rally, entertainment, and catering.

How to Participate

• Requirements: Deposit at least KSh 2,500 monthly into a KCB Goal Savings Account.

• Initial Action: New customers must open the account with a minimum of KSh. 5,000.

• Transaction Source: Funds must originate from outside KCB via authorized channels (Agents, Paybill, ATMs, or branches).

• Grand Prize Qualification: Participants aiming for the grand prize must save at least KSh. 50,000 and select the "plot/house purchase" goal by April 26, 2026.

“Owning a home is one of the most important financial milestones in a person’s life,” Ms. Kihara says, adding that the earlier people start planning for home ownership, the easier the journey becomes.

So, as you get happy underway this weekend, know that the goal of home ownership is achievable.
